Struggling Alone in this world!!!

Each of us is a struggling soul. We had to struggle with our addictions for some time before we found the right direction, and eventually each struggling soul must face the realities of life. If we face the trials of life alone, we will fail. 

But if we make our will one with our Higher Power in the journey of life, nothing will be too much to bear. After taking this Step, we will realize that we are one with God and that we don't have to struggle alone any longer.

It is my Higher Power that guides me through each day. I proved to myself that doing it on my own simply doesn't work. And boy did it take me a long time to realize that!

 I have never felt a strong need for company. I love being alone. My thoughts seem quite reasonable and are adequate companions for me most of the time. Until something goes wrong. Either my thoughts led me to someplace that they shouldn't have or I am in some sort of distress or trouble. At that point, I long for others to help hold me up. Knowing this about myself, I tend to be a better foul-weather than fair-weather friend. If my friends are doing fine, I don't seek them out as much as I should. But if they are hurting, I feel drawn to kindred sufferers and I want to help. It is really sort of strange.

This is what I have found to be true in my life. When I am surrounded by others, I may feel safety, encouragement, and sometimes contentment.... but I only see God face to face when I am alone. He is sort of like the turtles on the shore. In all the turbulence of the crowds they disappear from direct sight. They are there, but I can't see them till I take myself to a quiet place, beyond the maddening crowd. And sometimes wrestling with God in my aloneness results in pain, but ultimately it is only in that one on one struggle with God that one can truly overcome, truly prevail, truly believe.....

My one Time Life Task....!!!

Sunday, September 19, 2010   Thiruvananthapuram - Bangalore : The Fastest Route  In My cell Phone my task alarm was ringing aloud, disturbing a busy schedule at my work, but I was happy and excited to get up from my desk even though it was only 12.30 in the afternoon. A totally unexpected road trip is in the offing. By 1.15 PM, I found myself behind the wheels, enjoying the feel good fragrance of a new ride. The owner of this machine, my self, was sitting behind the wheel, just taking a note on the route to take. The 1086cc petrol mill was pulling me ahead and the smooth power delivery and brilliant engineering of Hyundai ensuring that passengers are having a dream time inside.
